About

Dr Liliya Wheatcraft - A Uniquely Qualified Psychiatrist of Autism
A medical doctor in her early 40s, Dr Liliya is a fully qualified member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.

I am also Autistic and have ADHD.
I find myself in a uniquely privileged position which makes me different to most other psychiatrists. Through my profound understanding of my own difficulties and my NeuroAtypical nature I can recognise, appreciate and help others who live with Autism. I'm perfectly placed to understand the nature and impact of Autism in peoples lives.
I have the relevant medical and academic background to give support to those who need it most.
From then to now...
Growing up in a small town, I often found myself sitting on the sidelines, wondering why I wasn't like everybody else.
Struggling to feel like I genuinely belonged, I decided it was time to break free from my limitations and step into the person I was always meant to be - confident and free to live the life I'd always imagined.
Now I've turned my transformation into an easy-to-follow system anyone can use to unlock their potential and start enjoying life like never before.

How I help Autistic People
I help Autistic people to grasp a more profound understanding of their own autistic thinking ad behaviour. With my support, they learn to answer important questions such as:
- How does Autism affect me?
- Which of my actions are best explained by Autism?
- What do non-Autistic people think about me?
- Why do non-Autistic people think about Autism in the way they do?
- How can I lean on my strengths and minimise the impact of my vulnerabilities?
- How can I feel better about myself?
I also help families and employers of autistic people - I use my empathetic nature and my own experience of Autism to help them understand, appreciate and celebrate the Autistic personality.
