This syllabus introduces the AUTISTIC framework, a model that explores the unique experiences of Neurodivergent (ND) individuals and their distinct subculture. It highlights how ND individuals often share a deeper mutual understanding across national and ethnic lines than with Neurotypical (NT) individuals from their own backgrounds. The course challenges outdated stereotypes that contribute to inadequate accommodations in employment, healthcare, and education, fostering more respectful and informed engagement.

The introductory course lays the foundation for understanding Neurodivergence, followed by eight in-depth modules that examine key aspects of the ND experience. These modules cover topics such as identity, communication, societal perceptions, workplace inclusion, healthcare accessibility, educational support, and advocacy. Through this structured approach, participants will gain valuable insights into the challenges and strengths of ND individuals, promoting meaningful inclusion and allyship.
